Welcome aboard Miracle Air. We are committed to providing you with a safe, seamless, and luxurious flying experience. By booking and flying with Miracle Air, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking & Payment
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon full payment.
- Proforma invoices must be confirmed by the due date stated. Unpaid or late confirmations may result in automatic cancellation.
- Payments should be made using the bank details provided. All bank charges must be borne by the sender.
Check-In & Identification
- Check-in time is 60 minutes before flight time. Security clearance must be completed at least 45 minutes before departure.
- Boarding gates close 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Late arrivals may be denied boarding.
- A valid passport or national ID must match the name on the ticket or booking confirmation.
- Passengers are responsible for ensuring all required visas, permits (including National Park permits), health documentation, and insurance are in order before travel.
Luggage Policy
- Each passenger is allowed 23 kg of checked luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage.
- Excess baggage is allowed subject to availability and will incur additional charges.
- Fragile and valuable items (e.g. Jewelry, cash, cameras) should be carried in hand luggage only.
Restricted & Prohibited Items in All Baggage:
- Explosives, fireworks, flammable liquids, radioactive materials, corrosives, toxic substances, compressed gases, and perishable biological substances.
- Weapons, firearms, matches, lighters, ammunition, and sharp objects such as knives, large blades, and tools that could cause harm.
- Chemical substances, including pesticides, acids, mercury, and other hazardous chemicals.
- Personal motorized devices such as hoverboards, Segways, or electric scooters due to lithium battery risks.
- Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices are prohibited and cannot be used onboard.
- Cigarettes or any type of smoking is prohibited onboard.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited and cannot be consumed onboard.
- Fresh coconuts and any items containing dry coconut (copra), as they are highly flammable.
- Self-heating meals or items with chemical reactions that generate heat (e.g., flameless ration heaters).
Allowed in Checked Baggage but Not in Carry-on:
- Lithium-ion batteries above 160Wh (must be declared in advance and approved by Miracle Air).
- Sharp objects (e.g. Scissors longer than 6 cm, tools, body razors, and non-folding knives).
- Liquid containers exceeding 100ml (non-alcoholic only, plus properly sealed in retail packaging).
Allowed in Carry-on but Not in Checked Baggage:
- Lithium-ion batteries up to 100Wh (e.g. for laptops, cameras, and small electronics – must be carried in original packaging or insulated to prevent short circuits).
- Spare lithium batteries and power banks (must not exceed airline-approved limits and must be placed in carry-on only).
- Essential medicines (with prescriptions) and baby formula.
- Fragile valuables, jewelry, cash, cameras, and important documents (Strongly advised to be carried in hand baggage only).
- Small amounts of liquids, aerosols, and gels under 100ml, placed in a resealable plastic bag.
Flight Operations
- All flights are non-smoking. Alcohol and e-cigarettes are not permitted onboard.
- Miracle Air reserves the right to adjust flight times, aircraft type, or routing due to weather, operational or safety reasons.
- In the rare case of delay or cancellation, Miracle Air is not liable for any direct or consequential costs, including missed connections.
Amendments & Cancellation
- Amendments made within 28 days of departure will incur a 10% change fee.
- Cancellations made 28 to 14 days prior to departure: 10% fee.
- Cancellations 14 to 7 days before departure: 50% fee.
- Cancellations within 7 days or no-shows: 100% fee (non-refundable).
- Name changes: 10% fee
No-Show Policy
- Guests who fail to arrive by the check-in deadline or miss their flight are considered no-shows and will be charged in full. No refunds apply.
Safety & Passenger Conduct
- Passengers must comply with all crew instructions during boarding, flight, and landing.
- Unsafe or disruptive behaviour may result in denial of service without refund.
- Miracle Air reserves the right to refuse boarding to anyone who appears unfit to fly or poses a risk.
Restricted & Prohibited Items
Please refer to our full list of restricted items including:
- No firearms, explosives, sharp tools, flammable liquids, or illegal substances.
- Lithium batteries must be declared and comply with airline safety limits.
- Full guidelines are provided at check-in and available on request.
Liability
- Miracle Air is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged baggage.
- We are not liable for weather delays, air traffic control restrictions, or unforeseen operational disruptions.
- Our flights are covered by passenger liability insurance as per Tanzanian Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
Medical Emergencies
In cases requiring emergency medical evacuation, Miracle Air can facilitate coordination with appropriate providers (separate arrangements and fees apply).
